Reading Head Start program was developed by Sarah Shepard, an English teacher after she was tired and unsatisfied with the current teaching curriculum. She first used this program on her children, her 6 years old son and her 2 years old daughter, which resulted to be successful and the from there it was a journey that she describes as on of the best things that has happened in her life. If we start stating facts, we should just state one very important fact of early literacy: Children who start reading younger and before preschool, are destined to succeed in life. In fact science states that these children are 75% more successful in school and life, as opposed to other children. We can't even describe with words how important it is to teach your children to read before their school journey begins.
